CREATION OF THE GRYB AG & LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DIVISION

GRYB creates the Ag & Light Industrial division, putting forward their attachment for light construction, land clearing, snow removal, and agriculture needs.

2022

AGREEMENT WITH SMP PARTS OF SWEDEN

We have grown to over 1,000 employees world-wide. Agreement with SMP Parts of Sweden - GRYB International signed a deal with Sweden's SMP Parts to provide the North American market with co-branded GTR Tiltrotators. Tiltrotators originally started out in Scandinavia in the 1980s and have since gained popularity in the US and Canada.

ACQUISITION OF RADTECH, DALKOTECH AND E-TRAK

Being a partner of OEM products since 1978, Radtech is an industrial supplier of snow removal equipment, including snowblowers and tractor plows. Located out of Thetford Mines, QC, Radtech provides a wide range of products adapted for landscaping work and seasonal maintenance.

Dalkotech has been in the welding industry since 1986. They are a leading sub-contracting company specializing in mechanical welding located out of Sherbrooke, QC.

Formaly known as Eco-Trak, e-Trak is a manufacturer of measuring and safety systems for heavy machinery. These devices have all the technological solutions to meet the highest standards in the industry. Now being part of GRYB International, e-Trak is looking to expand its market internationaly. 

GRYB'S 15TH ANNIVERSARY

GRYB, the founding company, celebrated its 15th anniversary. This milestone would have not been possible without its dedicated employees and loyal customers.

2021

ACQUISITION OF SERCO LOADERS

When the opportunity to have Two Harbors Machine Shop (Serco Loaders) join the GRYB International team, there was no hesitation from the shareholders. The acquisition of Serco Loaders continues to further the quest to become the world leader in material handling equipment. Serco Loaders, nestled in the small community of Two Harbors, Minnesota, has long been one of the industry leaders for knuckle-boom loaders in the United States and Canada. With over 94,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and 85 passionate employees, Serco Loaders has helped to drive GRYB International to new heights.

EXPANSION OF SHEAREX'S FACILITY

One year after the creation of Shearex, Gryb International was excited to break ground on phase one, a new 25,000 sq. ft. facility in Roxton Falls and the future home of Shearex. Now with 8 manufacturing locations, 950+ employees and represented in more than 20 countries around the world, Gryb International is poised for success and the realization of a vision, 14 years in the making.

2019

CREATION OF GRYB INTERNATIONAL

As the vision continued to grow and evolve, the shareholders knew the importance of maintaining the GRYB identity while continuing to expand the global reach and product offerings. This led to the creation of GRYB International, the parent company of all its divisions. This would allow for further expansion and acquisitions without overshadowing the original business.

ACQUISITION OF BATEMAN MANUFACTURING

GRYB International quickly seized the opportunity to expand again. This time, with the acquisition of Bateman Manufacturing, a company based in Oro-Medonte, renowned for its Orange Peel grapple and specialized material handling attachments. This not only added to the overall product line, but it also brought decades of experience and expertise with more than 50 new employees to the organization.

EXPANSION OF VICTORIAVILLE PLANT

As the business continued to grow for the organization, it became clear that it needed more space. A second expansion in 2019 would bring GRYB’s plant to a total area of 95,000 sq. ft. With this expansion, more employees would be needed. From the early days of 2 employees, GRYB expanded past 200 employees throughout the organization.

2017

FIRST EXPANSION OF VICTORIAVILLE PLANT AND NEW MEMBERS IN THE OWNERSHIP GROUP

To meet the market demand and fuel the growth of the company, GRYB completed its first expansion to the facility, increasing the total area to 69,000 sq. ft.

As crucial members of the leadership team and has played such an important role in the company’s growth, GRYB welcomed Jacquot and Jason as members of the ownership group.

2015

ACQUISITION OF MAGNET QUEBEC

Wanting to expand on its product offerings, GRYB acquired Magnet Quebec. This acquisition brought in new experience and market potential to the growing company. Shortly after the acquisition, Jason McNeil joined the GRYB leadership team to drive the growth of the new magnet division. Jason brought a combined wealth of engineering and sales experience and was a key element to the company’s expansion in the new market.

2014

NEW MEMBERS IN THE OWNERSHIP GROUP

To achieve this vision, Remi understood it would take a team of highly skilled, like-minded individuals. With this knowledge, Remi set out to bring on key leadership individuals that would be instrumental in the growth and success of GRYB. The first of which, was Jacquot Caron. Jacquot brought years of experience and know-how in production management and team building to GRYB.

The second to join the team was Luc D’Amours. Luc, an experienced engineer, was tasked with the development and management of the engineering team and quickly became an integral part of the ownership group and Director of Operations.

With the team and vision secured, GRYB constructed a new 23,000 sq. ft. facility to call home.

2009

GRYB MOVES IN ITS NEW FACILITY

GRYB moves into its new 10,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Victoriaville.

GROUPE R.Y. BEAUDOIN

Founded in 2007, Groupe R.Y. Beaudoin (GRYB), began its humble beginning through necessity, with the idea to change an industry. Long lead times and limited product options were common within the marketplace. GRYB founders, Remi Beaudoin and Yvon Beaudoin, believed that providing products with higher quality, at better prices, faster, was the way of the future. From this simple notion, they set out with the vision to change the industry standard and propel GRYB into a world leader in material handling equipment.
